- Leon Trystan was born in 1901 in Ostrów Mazowiecka, Poland, Russian Empire [now Ostrów Mazowiecka, Mazowieckie, Poland]. He was a director and writer, known for Souls in Bondage (1930), Dwa dni w raju (1936) and Bunt krwi i zelaza (1927). He died in 1941 in Odesa, Ukraine.
