Miles Tripp was born on 5 May 1923 in Ganwick Corner, Hertfordshire, England, UK. He was a writer, known for The Strange Vengeance of Rosalie (1972), Fixation (1973) and A Man Without Friends (1972). He died on 2 September 2000 in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, England, UK.

Served in Bomber Command in World War II. He based his classic
&quot;The Eighth Passenger&quot; (1969) on his experiences.

Trained as a solicitor (attorney) and was one of the first to
combine a legal career with writing crime fiction.
