Miles Tripp was born on May 5, 1923 in Ganwick Corner, Hertfordshire, England, UK. He was a writer, known for The Strange Vengeance of Rosalie (1972), Fixation (1973) and A Man Without Friends (1972). He died on September 2, 2000 in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, England, UK.

Married with two daughters.

Served in Bomber Command in World War II. He based his classic "The Eighth Passenger" (1969) on his experiences.

Trained as a solicitor (attorney) and was one of the first to combine a legal career with writing crime fiction.
