Biography

Bjo Trimble was born on August 15, 1933 in Holdenville, Oklahoma, USA. She is an actress and costume designer, known for Superbman: The Other Movie (1981), Flesh Gordon (1974) and The Genie (1957). She is married to John Trimble.

She and her husband's "Save Star Trek" letter-writing campaign persuaded NBC to renew the original television series for a third season. Star Trek creator Gene Roddenbery hired her as a "fan liaison", and when Star Trek: The Motion Picture was conceived, Roddenberry found a minor role for her as thanks. Trimble has since authored "The Star Trek Concordance: The A to Z Guide to the Classic Original Television Series and Films" (Citadel Press), considered by Star Trek fans to be the most concise reference work on the show ever produced.
