Sergej Trifunovic

Sergej Trifunović is a Serbian actor, comedian, singer, politician, and citizen activist. Son of actor Tomislav Trifunovic and lawyer Slobodanka Trifunovic, he spent his childhood moving between Mostar, Užice, Kruševac, and Belgrade because of his father's career. He enrolled at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade in 1990, studying alongside actors including Natasa Ninkovic, Vojin Ćetković, and Nebojsa Glogovac. Trifunović established himself as one of the prominent actors of Serbian cinema and television, while also maintaining a career in theater. Beyond acting, he has been involved in civic and political activism. In 2014, he founded the charity foundation Podrži život (Support Life), which assists disadvantaged children with serious medical conditions. He became president of the Movement of Free Citizens in 2019, serving until 2020, and was involved in opposition protests and efforts to improve media and electoral conditions in Serbia. He has also appeared as a singer and comedian, maintaining a varied career across entertainment and public life.
