- Troels Trier was born on January 17, 1940 in Copenhagen, Denmark. He was an actor and composer, known for Hansen og Jensen (1987), Wild Flowers (1997) and Tigerdukken (1982). He was married to Rebecca Brüel, Dea Trier Mørch and Jean Hayter Logie. He died on April 5, 2026 in Kerteminde, Denmark.

- For a period, he worked with ceramics together with Hannelene Meinild , with whom he also formed a couple and had a child. Meinild and the couple's daughter died in a drowning accident in 1968.
- In 1968, Troels Trier, together with Dea Trier Mørch , Yukari Ochiai and Ole Finding, founded the artist collective Røde Mor , which worked with political art in the form of graphics and posters and had close ties to the Vietnam movement . Røde Mor developed into an artist collective, and Troels Trier provided the group with lyrics and music. The group then began a collaboration with Clausen and Petersen's street circus .
