Biography

John Trent was born in Canada. He was a producer and director, known for Sunday in the Country (1974), It Seemed Like a Good Idea at the Time (1975) and Middle Age Crazy (1980). He died on June 3, 1983 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

His production company was named Quadrant Films, and was initially known for the co-production of the popular horror film "Deathdream" (1974).

Killed in a head-on collision between his compact Cadillac and a police car. The police car was moving on the wrong side of the road.
