  • First known as an up and coming young actress in Hollywood in the 90s and early 2000s, after being a cast member of the cult classic "Dazed and Confused" as a young teen, then appearing in commercials, independent films and on popular TV shows like "Gilmore Girls", "ER" and "The OC", Heidi Van Horne became a mainstay in the new pinup movement and soon became one of the most popular pinup girl and cover models of the era, working with top companies in print and online fashion campaigns and commercial modeling jobs, and gracing the cover of numerous magazines, catalogs, and some of the most ground breaking and influential photo books of the time (including the cover of David Perry's iconic "Hot Rod Pin Ups" by Motorbooks Inc., the often referenced "Modern Vixens" by pin up auteur Octavio Arizala and Goliath Press, the "Go With Moon" anthology and history of one of the most popular hot rod companies to exist, by Laurent Bagnard and Cast Iron Press, and the sexual self help book "How to Be a Dominant Diva", by Georgia Payne and Julie Taylor, which led to Heidi's face being seen on such varied venues as Stuff magazine and "The O'Reilly Factor".)

She became a popular writer and author, writing advice articles online and in print about modeling and the modeling industry, and penning articles as a staff writer for retro styled magazine "Bachelor Pad Magazine" before coming on board as a weekly columnist for the prestigious Houston Chronicle and Hearst Media with her "Heidi's Pics" articles about custom and classic cars and motorcycles.
