Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (1993) co-stars Amy Jo Johnson, Austin St. John, David Yost and Walter Jones attended her funeral.

On September 3, 2001, Thuy, Angela Rockwood, and one of Angela's bridesmaids were in a car accident, which killed Thuy and left Angela paralyzed.

For six days a week, for nine months a year, the 21-year-old would wake at 4:30 am. and drive an hour from her West Hollywood apartment to the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (1993) set in Valencia, California. Filming would begin at 6:30 am and wrap up 12 hours later. She would get home at 7:30 pm and go to bed within an hour.
