Biography

Camden Toy is best known for playing some of the creepiest and scariest villains on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. He played one of the Gentlemen in the Emmy Award nominated episode "Hush", the skin eating demon Gnarl, and the recurring role of the all powerful Ubervamp. He also appeared on the fifth season of Angel as The Prince of Lies. Toy was a series regular on both the Emmy Award winning series The Bay, and the television sitcom Goodnight Burbank.

Appeared in so many roles in make-up on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", that Sarah Michelle Gellar said that she had never seen his real face and the producers had to show her his photo.

Background in various martial arts, European clowning, physical clowning, vaudeville, mime.

His father, Malcolm, worked with Wally Westmore [makeup department of Paramount] and Wally's grandson, Mark, is an editor for the WB series "Angel" which Camden has appeared on. They are now friends!

Is well-known and beloved by "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" (1997-2003) fans. He appeared in six episodes, as three separate characters. One of "The Gentlemen" in S4.E10, "Gnarl" in S7.E3, and an Ubervamp in S7.E9, S7.E10, S7.E11, S7.E15. He met many fans at Comic-Cons and conventions.
