Biography

Born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Canada. Mr. Towstego entered this world with an audience watching! Nurses and doctors in training watched the delivery! Anthony has dedicated his life to the production of quality television and film production. He likes to be involved in programs of "significance" that are earthly bound, but with heavenly meaning. He Produced the first feature film in Saskatoon in the fall of 1996. This was the first major feature film shot in that city, with a modest budget of 1 million dollars, called Crisis. The movie was a co-producion with Jalal Merhi of Film One. It has been distributed internationally. Towstego has gained an international reputation in film production through his involvement with many award-winning projects and production companies. He has helped to further the industry in his province and has advocated to keep projects coming to his home city, Saskatoon. He is divorced and has four step-children. One of which, Summer Dietz, also works in the industry in Vancouver. His production company is Thomega Entertainment Inc.

Anthony is a past dedicated nine year member of the Board of the Saskatchewan Motion Picture Association (Screensask), 1996 Showcase chairman, and on the Advisory Board of Saskfilm. In 2022 Anthonys efforts in helping to foster the arts in Saskatchewan (film and television) was recognized when he received the Queen Elizabeth IiPlatinum Jubilee Medal. In 1998 Anthony also received a a public"Standing Order" in the Canadian Parliament for helping to pioneer film in the province of Saskatchewan. Anthony regularly attends numerous film and television market events throughout Canada, the United States, and Europe.
