Sue Townsend was born on April 2, 1946 in Leicester, Leicestershire, England, UK. She was a writer and producer, known for The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole, Adrian Mole: The Cappuccino Years (2001) and The Growing Pains of Adrian Mole (1987). She was married to Colin Broadway. She died on April 10, 2014 in Leicester, England, UK.
