Roberto Totola

Director, actor, musician Son of art, since childhood I attended the stages in the theater Companies founded and directed by my father. I have directed and also participated as an actor in numerous plays, winning awards at National and International Theater Festivals (National Festival of Pesaro, Gorizia, Macerata, Rovereto, World Festival in Montreal, Cavalaire, Nimes and Montecarlo Principality of Monaco). I studied classical guitar at the "Antonio Buzzolla" State Conservatory of Music in Adria. With Punto in Movimento and Fonderia Aperta Teatro, I organize theater and cinema productions and direct seminars and lessons in theater, music and cinema, in Italy and abroad, following the path traced by the studio of the Masters of the Arts, in particular the Ecòle of maestro Peter Brook. I have produced and directed independent short films, documentaries and video productions that have participated and won numerous Film Festivals (e. g. Manhattan International Film Festivals and numerous others around the world). Actor, director and musician always in search, I still alternate my training by studying with masters of theater, cinema, singing and music and with artists from the theater scene; I have collaborated with Stable Italian Theaters and I am a film actor, one of the most formative experiences: directed by the director Franco Giraldi alongside Giancarlo Giannini, Raoul Bova, Omero Antonutti.
