Biography

Edoardo Torricella was born on March 30, 1935 in Milan, Italy. He is an actor and editor, known for La vita nova (1974), Acts of the Apostles (1969) and Don Milani (1976).

Began his acting career, working in traditional theatre groups (Peppino De Filippo, from 1959 to 1965) and in avant-garde theatre.

After attending the School of Dramatic Theatre (S.T.D.) in Milan, in 1956 he won a scholarship as an acting student at the National Academy of Dramatic Art in Rome.

For fifty years (from 1968) he directed the "Compagnia Teatrale Il Gruppo" in Rome, which he himself founded.
