Biography

Mimi Torchin was born in 1946 in Laredo, Texas, USA. She is an actress and writer, known for Double-Stop (1968), The Bob Newhart Show (1972) and Generations (1989). She has been married to Liron Cohen since July 12, 2013.

Entered the University of Texas in 1965 and graduated in 1969.

Enjoyed taking pictures as a child; and while she set that aside for while; she is now a professional photographer, specializing in landscapes and still life photography.

She was a founding editor-in-chief of Soap Opera Weekly; and ran the publication for 11 years.

Splits her time between Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts, USA and Manhattan, New York, USA.
