Due to Russia's military invasion of Ukraine, the films of the festival's national competition were shown to the audience and jury as part of a special guest program during the Filmfest Hamburg in Germany.

The jury decided not to award the short film section and changed the rules of the National Competition Program, dividing the winners into a documentary and a feature film.
