Frances Tomelty was born on 6 October 1948 in Belfast, Northern Ireland, UK. She is an actress, known for Outlander (2014) and Bellman and True (1987). She was previously married to Sting.
Met Sting in 1974 on the set of Rock Nativity, a Christmas show/rock
musical, which was playing in Newcastle, UK: Frances was playing the
Virgin Mary; Sting played in the pit orchestra that supplied the music.
They married in a Catholic ceremony at Our Lady and St. Oswin's Chapel
in Tynemouth.
