- Grant Tilly was born on December 12, 1937 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. He was an actor, known for 30 Days of Night (2007), Nate and Hayes (1983) and Mirror, Mirror (1995). He died on April 10, 2012 in Wellington, New Zealand.
- Graduated from Wellington Tech and trained for acting at London's Central School of Speech and Drama. Briefly worked as an arts and crafts designer in his native New Zealand. Subsequently active on the stage. Co-founded the Circa Theatre in Wellington in 1976.
