- Fritz Tillmann was born on December 13, 1910 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. He was an actor, known for Planet of the Apes (1968), High Noon (1952) and Lawrence of Arabia (1962). He died on October 30, 1986 in Munich, Bavaria, West Germany.
- Provided the German voice-overs for such leading actors as Trevor Howard, John Mills, Charles Laughton, Peter Ustinov, Orson Welles and Van Heflin.
- Character actor of stage and screen. Made his theatrical debut in 1936. Career interrupted by wartime military service, 1941-43. Subsequently on stage in Berlin and in films, both in East and West Germany.
