- André and Pierre were brothers in law of Pierre Maheu, Lise, being their older sister. Pierre Théberge and Pierre Maheu co-founded the Québec Ti-pop cultural movement .
- Younger brother of Pierre Théberge ( 9 August 1942 -5 October 2018), director of the National Gallery of Canada (1998-2009) and before of Montréal's Museum of Fine Arts. He was also an author and member of the National Order of Québec.
- André, Lise and Pierre Théberge are the children of Robert Théberge, member of the Assemblée nationale du Québec (1956-61).
