Sally Thomsett was born on 3 April 1950 in Sussex, England, UK. She is an actress, known for The Railway Children (1970), Straw Dogs (1971) and Man About the House (1973). She was previously married to Claus Hede Nielsen and Nigel Newman.

She met her partner Paul Agnew, a lecturer in 1993 and they had a daughter in 1996.

For her work on The Railway Children she was made an Honorary Member of the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway.

Sister of <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/name/nm2791549/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Jeanette Thomsett</a>.

Thomsett appeared in Peter Pan as Mrs. Darling at Doncaster Racecourse during the 2014–2015 Christmas season.

Sally Thomsett is an English former actress. Out of drama school, Thomsett made several films for the Children&#39;s Film Foundation, and appeared in many popular television series.
