Sheila Thompson, widely-known for her positive and encouraging nature, is a casting director, producer, and recently, an award-winning director of the 2026 short film "Dark Sin." Under Sheila Thompson Casting, she has over two decades of experience in commercial, music video, film, and television - including the Japanese remake of Sideways, Anna Nicole, God's Club, and What Would Jesus Do 2. Over the years, Sheila has produced more than 30 theatrical and live productions, including 16 plays and events staged across Amsterdam, Singapore, Canada, India, and Malaysia - earning two Artist Achievement Awards in the process.

Inspired by her fiance's passing, Sheila founded the Robert Lee Rush Foundation, a nonprofit focused on empowering and enriching young adults. She is working with From the Heart Productions and Kappa Studios on the upcoming faith-based feature film "Out of Darkness," as well as the docu-drama "Father's Day." Dark Sin is being screened in several festivals.
Since the 2010s, she has:
- Coordinated major events for the Kingdom Economic Yearly Summit (K.E.Y.S.) and the Fellowship of Companies for Christ International (F.C.C.I.)
- Orchestrated the red-carpet premiere and VIP party for the film Doonby, starring John Schneider
- Served as TV Casting Director for The Oscars Fashion Passport and Unify LA at the Staples Center
- Served as the on-site general manager for the Pan-Pacific Film Festival, also contributing to the 168 Film Project
- Worked with From the Heart Productions to help upcoming filmmakers receive grants and sponsorship programs
