Biography

John Thomas was born in 1947 in Canada. He was an actor, known for First Blood (1982), Timecop (1994) and Stakeout (1987). He died in 1994 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Has a studio named after him: 'The John Thomas Special Effects Stage'. Before it was re-built into a sound stage, the building was used to manufacture components for San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge and Lions Gate Bridge.

For the first part of his career, slept in the back of his van until meeting his wife-to-be during production of Superman (1978).
