He was a producer and director, known for Fight Back with David Horowitz (1976), Speak Up, America (1980) and America's Funniest People (1990). He was married to Barbara Snyder Whitman and Jacquelyn Claire Matthews. He died on 5 October 2008 in Studio City, California, USA.
