- Anita Thallaug was born on February 14, 1938 in Baerum, Norway. She was an actress, known for Anything Goes (1962), Bells in the Moonlight (1964) and Operasjon Løvsprett (1962). She died on March 20, 2023 in Norway.
- In 1957, she was the first Norwegian actress to appear naked on film, filmed at an appropriate distance as the blonde in the American Blondine i fare (Blonde In Bondage). The film has a certain cult status in the US and was released on DVD in 2003.
- Her grandson is singer and music artist Rasmus Thall.
- Personal problems, mentioned in the autobiography 'Veien mot nord' (1978), caused her to more or less retire in the mid-60s, but living in Northern Norway she made local appearances, especially radio and church concerts, and appeared from time to time on TV, especially in Egil Teiges cabaret-style programs, i.a. 'Reunion with Anita' on 14 May 1977.
- Thallaug gave voice to Alice in the first Norwegian version of Disney's Alice in Wonderland (1951).
- Thallaug featured in musicals, cinema and television programs.
