- Glen Tetley was born on February 3, 1926 in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. He was an actor, known for L'enfance du Christ (1964), Ballet (1995) and Hallmark Hall of Fame (1951). He died on January 26, 2007 in West Palm Beach, Florida, USA.

- After a stint in th U.S. Navy, went to New York in the late 1940s and studied with Hanya Holm and Martha Graham. In the 1950s, starred with the Martha Graham Dance Company as well as the American Ballet Theater, making him one of the first "crossover" dancers.
- Before taking up his career in dance, he studied medicine. Later, he attended George Balanchine's School of American Ballet. He was one of the original members of the Joffrey Ballet, and led his own dance company from 1962 to 1969. After his company closed due to financial problems, he became a freelance choreographer. His works have been performed by the English National Ballet, the Paris Opera Ballet, the Royal Danish Ballet, and the National Ballet of Canada.
