Biography

Tex Terry was born on August 22, 1902 in Terre Haute, Indiana, USA. He was an actor, known for Death Valley Days (1952), The El Paso Kid (1946) and Alias Billy the Kid (1946). He was married to Isabel Draesemer and Dorothy Peters. He died on May 18, 1985 in Terre Haute, Indiana, USA.

After retirement he spent time touring schools throughout Indiana and Illinois exhibiting his skills with the whip and trick roping.

Was considered an expert with a bull whip.

[on why he played villains so often] It was my big eyebrows. They made me a natural villain so I was always the bad guy. I never wanted to become a star. I preferred to be a character actor because I got in more movies that way.
