Desislava Ivanova Tenekedjieva , better known as Dessy Tenekedjieva is a Bulgarian actress, singer and producer. She was a wife of director Stoyan Kambarev. After his death she founded in 2009 on whose name a foundation and the prize for art. To 2010 she is the only Bulgarian actress with a starring role in a film of official selection at the Cannes Film Festival. Dessy Tenekedjieva was born on April 12, in Varna, in the family of Bulgarian and Ukrainian Jew. Her father is an engineer, her mother is a teacher of French. As a child Dessy was practicing gymnastics and tennis. She completed his secondary education in Varna. He continued his education at the National Academy for Theatre and Film Art, Sofia, Bulgaria , where she graduated "Puppet mastery " in the class of Professor Nikolina Georgieva.
