Biography

Ellen ten Damme was born on October 7, 1967 in Warnsveld, Gelderland, Netherlands. She is an actress and director, known for Europe - 99euro-films 2 (2003), De tranen van Maria Machita (1991) and Bang Boom Bang - Ein todsicheres Ding (1999).

She was almost chosen for the leading role in the movie Honneponnetje (1988). The makers of the movie felt sorry for her because she didn't get the part after all, so she was chosen to sing the soundtrack 'Trust in a feeling' of the movie.

Studied Dutch.

She took part in the German preselection of the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 with the song "Plattgeliebt".
