Originally from Long Island, New York. Was chief engineer of WRLB radio
in Long Branch, New Jersey, rebuilding the station while attending Monmouth College (now
Monmouth University), and was "Tommy Metro" the weather guy/sidekick to
the station's all night rock disc jockey, Charlie Roberts.
