Valerie Taylor was born on November 10, 1902 in Fulham, London, England, UK. She was an actress and writer, known for Repulsion (1965), Berkeley Square (1933) and Went the Day Well? (1942). She was married to Desborough William Saunders (mining engineer) and Hugh Sinclair. She died on October 24, 1988 in Kensington, London, England, UK.

According to the writer Winston Graham, with whom she collaborated on the script of "Take My Life" (1947) : "She was a highly strung, highly articulate, beautiful but rather overpowering young woman who was full of ideas.".

Brunette English stage and screen actress, best known for starring in both the West End and Broadway productions of the play "Berkeley Square". From 1930, regularly acted in films on both sides of the Atlantic. One of her husbands was former "Saint" actor Hugh Sinclair.

Although she played Irene Browne's daughter in Berkeley Square (1933), she was only six years her junior in real life.
