Alex Tavis, is a NY based, Multi award winning, experienced international stage, voice, screen actor and editorial print model. He is also a Columnist for amNY: Business of Broadway. He is an adaptable, savvy and presence filled performer with theatre credits ranging from leads in Lincoln Center Festival, New Circle Theatre Co., HB Playwrights Theatre, The Players Theatre, Theatre for the New City, Village Playwrights, RADA, Ensemble Studio Theatre, Cherry Lane Theatre, Articulate Theatre Co., Ego Actus, Boog City Festival, Abingdon Theatre; to TV shows: HULU Original/ABC News Productions Series Regular Diddy On Trial: As It Happened; portraying prominent NY Attorney, Marc Agnifilo; Wall Street Warriors to Law and Order to recurring Guest star and co star roles on One Life to Live, All My Children, as well as critically acclaimed indie films Chapter and Verse, and Curtsy, Mister; Additionally, leads and supporting roles in recently wrapped indie picture Mel's Kitchen, Murmur(Best Actor Nomination-IOWF(International OnLine Web Fest), and Multi Platform New Media comedies Ivy League CrimeLords, Living In Exile, and These Three Girls. Alex Tavis is the Male Lead in MLB film project Rock N Rolled where he won Best Actor at the New York Movie Awards; and has received a Best Actor Nomination at the Idyllwild International Festival of Cinema, and several other nominations at highly regarded festivals. Alex also enjoys periodic professional stints in London and Los Angeles, and lives in Brooklyn with his wife and two sons. Alex serves(d) on the Alumni Association Board of Directors of Manhattanville University, on both the SAG-AFTRA NY MOVE and National Organizing Committees, the Brooklyn Friends School Fund. Several live podcast interviews and appearances include Aktina FM The Wiseguyz Show, and the Stephen Savage Show. Appointed in 2023 to the International Jury at IOWF awards.
