Laura Tavanti was born on 28 November 1938 in Rome, Lazio, Italy. She is an actress, known for Sette canzoni per sette sorelle (1957), Serenate per 16 bionde (1957) and Nero Wolfe (1969). She was previously married to Paolo Ferrari.

Actress and former model, she made her theatre debut in 1961 in La campana delle tentazioni directed by Maner Lualdi. She continued with the Teatro delle Novità in Milan, including a tour in South America in the summer of 1964.
