Ron Tarr was born on November 14, 1936 in Paddington, London, England, UK. He was an actor, known for Willow (1988), A View to a Kill (1985) and Eat the Rich (1987). He died on October 20, 1997 in Watford, Hertfordshire, England, UK.

Continued to appear in EastEnders (1985), as Big Ron, in pre-recorded episodes for several weeks after his death. His character was eventually written out early in 1998 when a reference was made to him having won the lottery and moved to Spain.

Recorded a scene for Part Two (1993) as the EastEnders character "Big Ron". As the scene was the result of a viewer's phone vote to find out who would help the Doctor, Big Ron or Mandy, the scene was never aired as Mandy won with 56% of the vote.
