TX, one of the five national networks in Japan created 51 episode anime series entitled "Legendary Idol Eriko" as a results of her popularity. The series is based on a fictionalized story about Eriko Tamura and has been released both on DVDs and comic books.

Lived in Düsseldorf, Germany for 6 years between the ages of 8 and 13.

Beat out Miss Universe 2007, Riyo Mori, for the role of Princess Yaeko in the NBC hit series, Heroes.
