Biography

Elza Temary was born on February 12, 1905 in Germany. She was an actress, known for The Beggar from Cologne Cathedral (1927), Salamander (1928) and Harry Hill im Banne der Todesstrahlen (1924). She was married to Howard S. Splane. She died on February 16, 1968 in Tucson, Arizona, USA.

The actress Elza Temary joined the film business in the middle of the 20s and she took part in numerous silent movies in the next years.

Her last movies came already at the beginning of the 30s.

Her acting career ended abruptly in 1932, so it can be assumed that she emigrated because of the emerging National Socialism.

In 1946 she married Howard S. Splane. The couple moved to Tuscon in 1956. She stayed there till her death.

In the United States, she lived in Hollywood and Beverly Hills.
