Kumiko Takeda was born on August 12, 1968 in Shizuoka, Japan. She is an actress, known for Zero Woman: Assassin Lovers (1996), Close Your Eyes and Hold Me (1996) and Tropical Mystery: seishun kyowakoku (1984).

Her modeling career began at age 6 with a TV commercial.

She has been ballet dancing from a young age, and credits it with keeping her figure.
