In 2023, he received the Thalia Award for lifetime achievement in drama.

Worked as a member of the drama troupe of the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre (formerly the State Theatre Ostrava) for more than 30 years.

A native of Prague, he graduated from DAMU, but got his first job in 1965 at the Workers' Theatre in Gottwaldov.

Between 1967 and 1993, he worked at the State Theatre in Ostrava.

After graduating from high school, he unsuccessfully applied to the Prague Academy of Performing Arts, where he joined after completing his military service.

Thanks to his distinctive and soft voice, Sársky has also been involved in spoken word for a long time, especially in radio, leaving a significant mark in dozens of productions, especially in the Ostrava studio of the Czechoslovak Radio, performing in combined music bands and also reciting. At the Podebrady Poetry Days in 2004, he received the Crystal Rose for his activities in the field of artistic recitation.

He studied the title roles in Romeo and Juliet, Othello and The Strakonice Piper.

In the early 1990s, he was also briefly the head of drama at the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre. After a two-year engagement at the Rokoko Theatre, he returned to Ostrava, and from 2003 he worked at the Svand Theatre.

He spent more than 30 years of his artistic life engaged in the drama of the State Theatre in Ostrava (today NDM), which includes 120 roles from the Czech and international repertoire.

In addition to theater, he starred in several episodes of the series Bakalári or played coach Hrouzek the Elder in the comedy series Lajna.
