Composer and conductor. He led a number of choral groups, mainly in Poznan. In 1967-71 artistic director of the Poznan Philharmonic, in 1971-87 deputy director of artistic affairs and conductor of the Lodz Philharmonic.
Buried in the Catholic part of the Old Cemetery at Ogrodowa Street in Lódz, Poland.
