Béla Szepes was born on 5 September 1903 in Igló, Austria-Hungary [now Slovakia]. He was an assistant director and writer, known for The Superior Mother (1937), Álomsárkány (1939) and Úrilány szobát keres (1937). He was married to Mária Szepes. He died on 26 June 1986 in Budapest, Hungary.
