Biography

Tamas Szentkuti was born in Dunaújváros, Hungary. From a young age, he developed a passion for music and learned to play various instruments, including guitar, drums, and keyboards. His early interest in film led him to create short movies on Super 8 with his close friend Zsolt Bernath. In 1994, Szentkuti co-founded the Hungarian independent film collective Cruel World Team, where he served as the cameraman and videographer for all of their projects, including eight feature films.

Throughout his career, Szentkuti also worked with local television in Dunaújváros and with TV2, one of Hungary's largest commercial television networks, as a cameraman.

Tamas Szentkuti passed away in his hometown at the age of 54. His contributions to Hungarian independent cinema and television continue to be remembered by his peers and admirers.
