Biography

Harold Switzer was born on January 16, 1925 in Paris, Illinois, USA. He was an actor, known for Beginner's Luck (1935), Reunion in Rhythm (1937) and Fishy Tales (1937). He was married to Beverly Osso. He died on April 14, 1967 in Lennox, California, USA.

In his last years, Switzer was the owner-operator of a laundromat in Torrance, California. On April 14, 1967, Switzer went to his former business associate's house in Redondo Beach, where he shot and killed him after a dispute; Switzer then drove to a remote area in Lennox, and shot himself.

Older brother of actor Carl 'Alfalfa' Switzer.

Had 3 kids with Beverly Osso: Judith Ann (born 7 Aug 1945), Tony Frederick (born 24 Dec 1951) and Teddy Berton (21 Jun 1954). Additionally, had a daughter named Gladys Lavon (born 15 October 1958) by a Miss Rose.
