Prasad Sutar Founder, Producer & Director at Renee Days Productions LLP.

It's been a journey, from his 1st film, where he was part of the team who did the Aamir Khan starer film "Gulam" in which the lead actor jumped in front of a heading train. Henceforth everything was on-job learning, self and from colleagues, both junior and seniors. Prasad Sutar is a visual effects designer and supervisor known for his exemplary work in Hindi cinema. He started his career as a CGI Animator and after having worked as a compositor and VFX supervisor, he then moved on to head a VFX department. Prasad has worked for several renowned studios like Maya entertainment ,Efx, Pixion, and Reliance Media Works and finally started his own company NY Vfxwaala partnering with VFX Supervisor Naveen Paul in collaboration with Ajay devgan Films. With around 150 feature films, few awards, and working with some of the best talents and teams in the country, the quest for that one complicated shot which gives sleepless nights continues. hence from CGI Animator to Compositor, to VFX supervisor, to heading a VFX dept & finally taking a leap of faith on starting a VFX house, which has to grow in a culture where talent as cherished & respected, the dream continues. Within a year of co-founding NY Vfxwaala, Prasad received the Asian Film Award (AFA) for Best Visual Effects for the film Bajirao Mastani and Zee Cine Star Award for Best Post Production and many more afterwards. His leadership has already made NY Vfxwaala one of the most sought-after VFX companies in the entertainment industry. Within a year at NY Vfxwaala with a team of around 100 talented artist delivered project like Driyshum, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Tamasha, Dilwala & the magnanimous Bajirao Mastani which has won the Star screen awards, Zee cine awards. This film also won the prestigious Asian Film Awards where films from around 70 countries & 9 nominations from in various categories were nominated. Bajirao Mastani was the only film which won the VFX award for India this year.
