- Mariya Surova was born on November 22, 1970 in Kazan, Tatar SSR, USSR [now Tatarstan, Russia]. She is an actress, known for Detektivnyy sindrom (2019), Vishnyovyy sad (1993) and Adalbert Ox (2013). She has been married to Roman Sviridenko since November 2016.

- In 1985, she entered the Irkutsk Theater School but then transferred to the Chita Cultural Counseling School to People's theater directing faculty. In 1995, she also graduated from the VGIK named after Gerasimov (workship of S. Solovyov).
- Made her professional stage debut in 1975 at the Norilsk Theater at the age 5.
- Has three children: a daughter Asya Surova (b. August 25, 1988), a son Kaspar Schultess (b. July 6, 1993) and another daughter Lyubov Kotlyarova (b. January 10, 1996).
