Biography

Pär Sundberg was born on October 22, 1957 in Stockholm, Sweden. He is an actor, known for Pippi in the South Seas (1970), Pippi on the Run (1970) and Pippi Longstocking (1969).

When shooting one of the Pippi Longstocking-movies author and Pippi-creator Astrid Lindgren gave the then 13-year old Sundberg a necklace with a heart of gold. She told him to give it to someone special when he got older. As of 2002 he has still not found a worthy candidate.

He studied in Lund in Sweden and instantly knew after his performance as Tommy he would not continue with the acting.

He works for a company offering PR campaigns and is a manager for the whole Scandinavian market.
