Biography

S. Sukhdev was born on October 1, 1933 in Dehra Dun, United Provinces, British India [now India]. He was a director and cinematographer, known for An Indian Day (1968), After the Eclipse (1967) and My Love (1970). He died on March 1, 1979 in New Delhi, Delhi Union Territory, India.

Changed his name from Sukhdev Singh Sandhu to S. Sukhdev for his career.

Father of director Shabnam Sukhdev . Shabnam was previously married to director Vidhu Vinod Chopra.
