Biography

Philipp Stölzl was born in 1967 in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. He is a director and writer, known for The Physician (2013), North Face (2008) and Young Goethe in Love (2010).

His Rammstein video "Stripped" was banned, being considered Nazi propaganda (1998).

Has directed many music videos of international superstars such as Madonna or Garbage.

Directed Faith No More's music video "Stripsearch", shot in Berlin (1997).

Lives with his longtime companion and their child in Berlin.

Son of Christoph Stölzl.
