Niklas Strömstedt was born on 25 July 1958. He is a composer and actor, known for Arn: The Knight Templar (2007), Pillertrillaren (1994) and Arn: The Kingdom at the End of the Road (2008). He has been married to Jenny Strömstedt since 16 July 2011. He was previously married to Efva Attling.

Together with Björn Ulvaeus, he translated all of the ABBA songs from
Mamma Mia into Swedish for the Swedish version of the musical.

Was a member of GES together with Thomas &quot;Orup&quot; Eriksson and Anders
Glenmark. They wrote and performed the Swedish official song for the
World Championship in football (soccer) in the USA in 1994, where
Sweden won the bronze medal.

Has 2 sons, Adam Strömstedt (born 1988) and Simon Strömstedt (born 1991), with <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/name/nm1409823/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Efva Attling</a>.

Has a daughter, Maja (born 1998), from his relationship with <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/name/nm0803605/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Agneta Sjödin</a>.
