- Just prior to his death he marched in the Christopher Street West parade in West Hollywood wearing shorts and a tank top. It was one of the first times a person with KS marched publicly in LA showing the symptoms of his disease. He appeared in the 1987 PBS documentary; "It Starts With An A." The film dealt with the daily lives of people living with AIDS.
