Biography

Buxom and shapely 5'6" blonde bombshell Samantha Strong was born Samona Susan Shields on June 9, 1967, in Seattle, Washington. She was spotted at a VSDA show by Ron Jeremy and first began performing in explicit hardcore movies at age 19 in the autumn of 1986. Among the notable companies she worked for are Rosebud, Vidco Entertainment, CDI Home Video, Filmco Releasing and Leisure Time Entertainment. She won an AVN Award for Best New Starlet in 1988.

In the late 1980s Strong had a contract dispute with Vivid Entertainment--the biggest production company in the porn business--stemming from her refusal to perform with Jeff Stryker because he also did gay porn and thus presented a possible AIDS risk. She was eventually inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame. Samantha retired from the adult-film industry in the late 1990s.
